We are blessed to have an awesome client like Tias. He is so easy going and chilled, that helps me to be able to work better with him. He gives me his ideas, and gives me the freedom, to do my own touches on it. I love tattooing him, I work in a good frame of mind, that helps to deliver a better tattoo. Thank you Tias.
I’m in love with oil painting, i fell like I have finally found a medium that I can stick to, it is a slow process but I don’t mind, as I have a few paintings on the go, so the drying time is not an issue. This Hanya Mask I have recently finished, is a canvas project for an art shop in Leeds city centre called “Fred Aldous” they were really nice and allowed me to take my time and do my own thing. This painting is a give away, so I took the picture face on, so you guys fell free to copy it if you like. Keep and eye for more updates on art work and tattoos here on Familia Tattoo. Thank you
I got to finish this oil painting, I have been working for a few months, oil is a very slow process, but a very pleasant process. You have to wait until it dries, then add another layer. I can add as many layers as I wish, and it’s a very safe space to try new ideas. This oil painting combines my love for fantasy art, and my Roots, back when I was a child in Brazil. This Indian is like a vigilante from the jungle, who you clearly can’t mess with. I hope to carry on painting with oils as much as I can, I’m easing off on tattooing a bit, to be able to produce more oil paintings. I’m heavily inspired by an artist called “Raymond Swanland” at the moment, that guy is insane.
I had the opportunity to get a picture taken of the Phoenix Tattoo, I did on Edwards, a few months ago. I didn’t expect to take a picture of it all healed, as he had to leave the country no long after the tattoo was finished. It was a pleasure seeing him, as we had a top laugh during his tattoo process. He’s now back for his second tattoo, I’m sure we gonna have a top time. Thank you for being awesome.
Victoria had a tattoo while in a boat trip, and it needed covering up. She asked for 2 feathers, to fit exactly on top of the tattoo she needed covering, I choose to free hand it. She wasn’t so specific with how she wanted it, so I choose to apply my own shading on it. Different from the picture she first brought to me.
Paul is a come back client, I originally did the “Liver bird” on top of his arm. He’s a big Liverpool fan. He surprised me, when asking for a skull on his forearm, he wants to incorporate the idea of, see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. So that’s the first of the 3 skulls, I enjoyed free handing straight on his arm. He was very easy going, can’t wait to get going next session. Thank you.
