Hello everyone, thanks for looking at our site. We are going to a second lockdown, so we are keeping positive and just making the most of the opportunity to study and live art. We are lucky as artists, as we are never gonna be bored, depending how passionate you are about art, you can always be creative, and being bored is not an option. Throwing ourself in to painting and a drawing is a blessing to get out of this world for a while, so in times of pandemic and lockdown, being an artist is a blessing, to have the opportunity to drive ourselves to another world, and forget about this one for a while.
In this image, I have shared 3 original sketches I have worked on and framed. The first one is a fantasy Angel holding a sword with wings. She has a feel of faith and patience. The second image is a Geisha with a dragon, I’ve always enjoyed mixing Japanese Geishas with dragons, as they are my two favourite Japanese characters. And the last frame is a bit of a crazy fantasy design I did, without worrying too much about it, sometimes is good to just let go, and let it be, without any rules, or judgment, so I would say it’s a judgement free process I went through. Thank you for visiting our site. And good luck with the lockdown. Keep an eye open for updates during lock down. Take care guys
I enjoy digital painting, pros and cons with everything we do, and painting is no different. I love to mix a bit of fantasy, if i approach Japanese art, as in my opinion, it pushes ideas a bit further. I will be making a big print out of this paint, and hung it in the wall of our art gallery, in our Leeds city centre tattoo studio. Thank you.
Finished my good friend tommys dragon tattoo today! Tommy wanted a more chinese style look to his dragon with a darker look compared to say a Japanese style. We did moslty grey lining and then built it up from there. We added alot of detail into the body and background than a traditional look. We addded alot of shadows into the scales to give a little depth. Really love the outcome of this dragon tattoo! thanks tommy! click here to follow joe on instagram!
I’m in love with oil painting, i fell like I have finally found a medium that I can stick to, it is a slow process but I don’t mind, as I have a few paintings on the go, so the drying time is not an issue. This Hanya Mask I have recently finished, is a canvas project for an art shop in Leeds city centre called “Fred Aldous” they were really nice and allowed me to take my time and do my own thing. This painting is a give away, so I took the picture face on, so you guys fell free to copy it if you like. Keep and eye for more updates on art work and tattoos here on Familia Tattoo. Thank you
